"I refused to be
tested"
WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES AND PENALTIES?
WARNING! Every
state in The United States has penalties relating
to "refusal" to submit to an officer's
requested blood tests, breath tests, urine tests
or other test(s) (each state's requirement depends
on state law). Don't delay in contacting competent
and knowledgeable legal counsel to assure that you
protect your legal rights. License suspension or
license revocation (ALS / ALR) appeals must be started
immediately after arrest in most states.
"I took the test offered by
the officer. Am I okay?"
DO I LOSE MY LICENSE OR
SUFFER A PENALTY FOR SUBMITTING?
WARNING! Even if
you took the blood test, breath test, or urine test
requested by a police officer, you MAY be facing
license suspension or license revocation (sometimes
called "ALR" or "ALS") if your
breath, blood or urine test result exceeded the
state's prohibited level. Contact competent and
knowledgeable legal counsel to assure that your
rights are protected and your license protected
to the full extent of the law. Don't delay! Appeals
must be filed immediately.
DUI / DWI / OWI / OUI / OMVI / DUI charges will
be made against over 1.5 million drivers each year.
Don't plead guilty without learning about all of
your legal rights!
